Psalms in memory of my mother 03/26/36-12/31/07

My wife and I have dedicated this installment to my beloved mother, Virginia, who passed away at 8pm New Years Eve 2007 from complications following chemo treatment for lymphoma. Both my brother and I were at her bedside when she took her last breath four hours before the New Year. She was a very strong willed and Godly woman who later in life struggled with clinical depression, but not before raising her family with Christianity as a solid foundation. May she rest in peace in God's loving arms until that Glorious Day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. I love you so much mom, and will forever treasure the memories. Bless you from the depths of my heart and soul. I miss you so much! Your son, Rick.

A blessed day it was when Jesus was born into this world! He came to save all of mankind from sin, and to teach us how to treat one another with kindness and love. This time of year serves as a reminder that God in all His Glory has a plan for us, to save us from ourselves and the temptations of the devil. A life apart from God is a life full of corruption, hate, envy, jealousy, greed, deceit, and every kind of evil imagineable. It is never too late to turn to Him, and He will wait for the very last one to do so before Jesus returns on a cloud from heaven to put an end to this world as we know it. Keep God in your thoughts this holiday season, and may all of His Blessings be yours!

The headlines speak of wars, natural disasters, economic woes, crime, and the ever expanding population on a daily basis. Is there any relief in sight? Not while mankind as a whole conitnues on its present course of complacency and permeant attitude of indifference to God's will. He cautions us about being "luke warm," while all the signs of impending doom close in like wolves approaching unsuspecting sheep. If you haven't yet chosen the narrow path to righteousness while the road to perdition continues to widen, it's still not too late. For God intends to wait until the very end for the last of His children to turn to Him, and then there will be no where to hide from His wrath. As I write this, Satan is taking his last breath, making an all out concerted effort to sway as many people as possible, particularly we Christians. This episode is one of hope and prayer, that not one hair on your head be lost.
